Bill Thompson is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Educational Services of America, Inc., with principal offices located at 104 North Seven Oaks Drive, Knoxville, TN 37922.  Mr. Thompson also serves as the President and CEO of Community Bank of the Cumberlands, a subsidiary of ESA.

Prior to joining ESA, Mr. Thompson served as Senior Vice President and Loan Administrator for First Citizens National Bank where his primary responsibilities included creating and implementing loan policy, regional loan portfolio management, risk identification and management, managing a lending team, and chairing various credit committees. Mr. Thompson recently served as a member of the board of directors for the Tennessee Banking Association Young Bankers Division, The Southeastern School of Banking, and the Southeastern School of Consumer Credit. Mr. Thompson holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Memphis majoring in both finance and accounting. He is also a graduate of the Southeastern School of Banking and Advanced Commercial Lending.
